The Ampeg SVT-810AV is a 2x400W 8x10" bass cabinet with the original Ampeg SVT stack's fit and finish. Why eight 10" speakers? Because Ampeg learned early on that 10" speakers work much more efficiently than fifteens or eighteens—and if you put eight 10" speakers together, you can move a much larger column of air. In fact, you'd need five 18" or six 15" speakers to move as much air as the SVT-810AV. And they simply wouldn’t be able to respond to transient peaks as quickly as our tens. The SVT-810AV is still manufactured using the same design dating all the way back to 1969. The Infinite Baffle design of these sealed enclosures produces vast amounts of tightly focused bass.Ampeg SVT-810AV Features:Tilt Back Handle Bar1/4" and Neutrik Speakon® JacksBaltic Birch PlywoodHeavy-Duty Recessed WheelsSkid railsSVT-AV Head Color-SchemeAmpeg SVT-810AV Specifications:LF Drivers: 8x 10"Voice Coil: 2"Magnet Weight (each): 30 ozRMS Power Handling: 2x 400-Watts (Stereo)RMS Power Handling: 800-Watts (Mono)Frequency Response (-3dB): 58Hz-5kHzUsable Low Frequency (-10dB): 40HzNominal Impedance: 2x 8-Ohms (Stereo)Nominal Impedance: 4-Ohms (Mono)Sensitivity: 100dBMaximum SPL: 130dBDimensions (WxHxD): 26" x 48" x 16"Weight: 165 lbs Ampeg SVT810AV SVT-810AV.
