Please Note: This product is specific to Georgia. Find Red Lime Trees available in other states. Planting & Care 1. Planting: Plant in an area or container where it can receive full to partial sunlight (4 to 6 hours per day) and for enough room for growth. If planting in the ground, ensure the tree is positioned with the top most roots at the soil line. Fill the planting hole with soil and gently tamp it in. Water thoroughly to settle the roots and eliminate air pockets. 2. Watering: Water at least twice a week on light soils, or once a week for clay soils. Make sure you’re soaking the entire root system deeply. Water regularly during dry periods. 3. Fertilizing: Fertilize throughout the year based on the plant’s growing zone with a citrus-specific fertilizer, such as the one included in our Citrus Care Kit. Based on this plant’s growing zones, you may need to fertilize up to three times per year in late winter, spring, and fall. 4. Pruning: If planting in a container or small space, prune to trim the size. Remove any dead branches, damaged limbs, or water sprouts to encourage healthy growth. 5. Pollination: Red Lime Trees are self-fertile. You will get fruit with only one plant. However, adding an additional Red Lime Tree will drastically increase the size of your crop.
