Made from galvanized steel, it's commonly used in restaurants, greenhouses, factories, barns and warehouses. With 1,280 CFMs, it's ideal for rooms up to 320 square feet (based on 8 foot ceilings). Durable Construction The iLiving ILG8SF16V is designed for long-term use thanks to these features: Permanently lubricated motor Speed controlled Corrosion-resistant with OSHA compliant wire guards Galvanized steel frame Aluminum shutters and fan blades Control Options This iLiving variable speed shutter fan requires a variable speed controller, or it will operate continuously at high speed. An additional option is to install a thermostat control box which allows you to set the fan to automatically turn on when the space reaches a pre-set temperature. For a fan operation based on more than one variable, you can install the all-in-one fan controller which includes a timer and humidistat, as well as a thermostat and speed controller. This kit's control box is connected to the fan and plugged into a nearby outlet. It also comes with a remote control.
