You can also add the magic with a press of the 4K legacy switch. Modeled after the iconic 4000 series console circuitry, the legacy switch imparts the classic 4000 series high-frequency boost and subtle old-school component distortion to the input. The SSL 12 features four full +24 dBu balanced combo inputs, two Hi-Z instrument inputs, and eight ADAT (sold separately) digital inputs, yielding the possibility of 12 simultaneous input sources. Full integration with SSL 360° software allows the 12 to be the heart of your SSL control room via the internal software mixer.
